Our studio

A small team that cares,
deeply, about craft.

RIN8 is a product studio of designers and engineers who'd rather ship one beautiful thing than a dozen mediocre ones. We work closely with founders and operators to turn vague ideas into products people actually want to use.

Our story

We built RIN8 because we missed making things we were proud of.

Most agencies optimize for throughput — how many projects can we push through, how cheaply, how fast. The result is usually a site that looks like every other site, or a SaaS dashboard that feels like a chore to use.

We wanted the opposite. A studio small enough that the same people you first talk to are the ones writing the code, pushing pixels, and answering your questions at launch. A studio where "good enough" isn't good enough — where we sweat the small stuff because that's what separates a product people tolerate from a product people love.

Today we work with startups, scale-ups, and established businesses across North America and Europe. We're selective about who we partner with, because the best work comes from teams that trust each other and share the same standards.

What we stand for

Four principles we don't compromise on.

01

Craft over speed

We'd rather take an extra three days to ship something we're proud of than hit an arbitrary deadline with something we're not. That's usually what clients actually want, too.

02

Plain talk

No jargon, no buzzwords, no "leveraging synergies." We explain decisions in language a smart non-technical person can follow — because that's usually who's paying us.

03

Own it end-to-end

The person designing it is the person building it. No handoffs where intent gets lost, no "that's not in my JIRA ticket." Small teams, full responsibility.

04

Built to outlast us

You should be able to take our code to any other team and have them understand it. Clean architecture, readable commits, thorough docs — always, not just when it's convenient.

Who we work with

The kind of work we do best.

We’re intentionally selective about who we partner with — not because we’re snobbish, but because the best work comes from teams that share our standards.

Founders building something new

Pre-launch and early-stage companies that need a polished site, MVP, or first version of a SaaS product. You have an idea and a runway; we have the design and engineering to ship it.

Growing businesses with real customers

Established small and mid-sized businesses ready to invest in better software — replacing a tired website, launching a customer portal, or building internal tools that finally save time instead of costing it.

Teams that need a partner, not a vendor

Companies with internal teams who need extra hands or specific expertise — design, mobile, infrastructure — brought in for projects or ongoing retainer work.

And honestly, who we’re not for: projects priced on lowest bid, clients who want a vendor that just executes a spec without pushback, or anyone looking for cheap-and-fast over thoughtful-and-built-to-last. We’d rather be a great fit for fewer clients than a mediocre one for many.
How we work

The everyday stuff, done right.

Weekly demos, not surprise reveals

We show you real progress every week — no big-bang reveals where we disappear for a month and you pray we got it right.

A shared Slack channel

One place for everything. Async by default, so nobody has to sit in meetings just to feel productive.

Everything in a repo you control

Day one, you get access. Every commit, every branch, every design file. If we vanish tomorrow, you still have everything.

Remote, with real overlap hours

We're distributed across three time zones but keep a 5-hour daily overlap with every client. Async, not asleep.

Let's build something

Want to work together?

We take on a small number of projects each quarter so we can give each one proper attention. If that sounds like what you're looking for, we'd love to hear what you're working on.
